Trans Canada Trail’s Meghan Reddick Joins CHFI Board of Advisors
(Toronto, Aug 14, 2023). The Canadian Health and Fitness Institute (“CHFI”) is delighted to announce the addition of Meghan Reddick to its Board of Advisors. Chief Communications and Marketing Officer for the Trans Canada Trail, Meghan brings extensive experience and a deep passion for mental, physical, and social well-being to her role as an Advisory Board Member.
“There are many synergies between the values of CHFI and Trans Canada Trail" said Meghan, who sits on the leadership team of the world's longest trail and leads their brand strategy and recent transformation. "Trans Canada Trail helps remove barriers to access so that everyone can benefit from getting active. I look forward to working with CHFI to promote the numerous health benefits of immersing oneself in nature.”
With a proven track record as a brand strategist, Meghan has successfully led brand transformations for many renowned national charities, including Habitat for Humanity Canada, YMCA Canada, and Kids Help Phone.
“Our organization is aimed at getting people outdoors to enjoy health physical activity,” said CHFI Director Donna Weston. “We at CHFI hope that Meghan’s presence as an Advisor will help us promote one of Canada’s greatest assets - its trails, especially the Trans Canada Trail. For every Canadian that gets out in nature and brings a friend, there’s someone who’s overcoming the challenges of screen addiction, sedentary behaviour, loneliness, and mental illness.”
Meghan’s leadership has established her as a thought leader and sought-after public speaker. During her spare time, she can often be found exploring and hiking trails, particularly along Toronto’s Waterfront Trail in the Beaches where she lives.
